Reynold Henry Weidenaar (1915-1985) was an American painter, etcher, and illustrator. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He studied at the Kendall School of Design and the Kansas City Art Institute. He received several awards for his works, including a Guggenheim Fellowship and the Louis Comfort Tiffany Scholarship. He was a prolific and exacting artist, producing 212 prints on copper with the intaglio processes, using tools he crafted himself, and reviving the mezzotint technique. Working mostly on copper with all the intaglio processes, Weidenaar produced 212 prints.
