Iris Simon studied painting and ceramics under the tutelage of Harry Steinberg, Jean Liberte, and Milton Goldstein at Smith College. She graduated from Smith in 1947. Some of the exhibitions her work appeared in included the Honolulu Academy of Arts, the Albany Institute of History and Art, and the Peoria Art Center. At one time, she was represented by the Olympus Gallery and Original Graphics in New York City.
