Will Simmons (1884 - 1949) was an accomplished American painter, etcher, engraver, and sculptor who specialized in wildlife prints. Simmons studied at Harvard and at the Julian Academy in Paris. He was known as a master of dry point engraving and he engraved images of monkeys, bears, moose, birds and other animals in this style. He was a member of the Chicago Society of Etchers, the Brooklyn Society of Etchers and of the California Printmakers Society.
