The Joy of Collecting: The Strishock Print Collection

Buckland-Wright, John

John Buckland-Wright (1897-1954) was a prolific engraver, illustrator, and etcher. Born in Dunedin, New Zealand, he moved to London to study architecture, but began engraving around 1925. Some institutions that hold his works include the Tate Gallery, the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco, and the Hague. The British Museum holds a complete collection of his engravings.
