Phillips, Walter Joseph

Walter Joseph Phillips (1884-1963) was Born in Lincolnshire England in 1884. Phillips was famous for popularizing Japanese-style woodcuts. He studied abroad in several countries, including South Africa and France before moving to Winnepeg, Canada. He died in 1963 in Victoria, British Columbia.
