Mead, Roderick Fletcher

Roderick Fletcher Mead (1900 - 1971) was an American artist. He was born in New Jersey, and he studied at Yale University and the Newark Academy. He then moved to New York where he studied at the Grand Central Art School and the Art Students League. He was a member of the American Watercolor Society, and he exhibited his work with the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, the Society of American Etchers, the National Academy of Design, the Carnegie Institute, the Museum of New Mexico and the New Mexico State Fair.
