Charles Haslewood Shannon (1863-1937) English artist Charles Haslewood Shannon was born in Sleaford, Lincolnshire, England. After studying wood engraving at the Lambeth Art School he enjoyed great success with his portraits. Both the British Museum and the Berlin and Dresden print rooms have acquired complete sets of his etchings and lithographs.
