Alberto Beltran (1923-2002) was a Mexican painter, printmaker, and illustrator. He was born in Mexico City in 1923. He studied at the Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas and with Carlos Alvarado Lang. He was known for his printmaking and his illustrations in books, magazines, and journals. Beltran used his art to express his populist, political, and nationalist ideals.
