Stories of Women Religious

Her Story

Very little information is available about Sister Mary Ignatia Greene. Women religious are often remembered for their service and devotion. While Sister Mary Ignatia wished to engage in this work, sailing for San Francisco to establish a charity school, she instead passed away while crossing the Isthmus of Panama. This collection of her letters was published following her death.
