How do I download an e-book on my Android device?

  1. Create a free Adobe account here
  2. From the app store, download a reader app for your Kindle Fire. One free example is Bluefire Reader
  3. Open the reader app and use your Adobe ID to authorize your Android device
  4. Use the web browser on your Android device to navigate to the e-book platform. You can read downloading instructions for every e-book platform here
  5. When you download the e-book, it will go to the reader app

How do I transfer an e-book from my computer to my Android device?

Before you transfer the book, you must complete some steps:

  1. Create a free Adobe account here
  2. From the app store, download a reader app for your Android device. One free examples is Bluefire Reader
  3. Open the reader app and use your Adobe ID to authorize your Android device

There are a few ways to transfer an e-book from your computer to your Android device:

  1. There may be a special widget or program for transferring documents to your device. Check the manual for more information
  2. E-mail the file to yourself. Open the e-mail on your Android device and download the attachment. Choose the reader app that you downloaded earlier and the e-book should open in that app
  3. Use an online file sharing service like iCloud, Google Drive, or Dropbox. These programs allow you to store files on one device and access them on another. Click the linked name for more information
