Letters from Italian immigrant father in the United States to his daughter, living in a convent in Calabria, Italy, 1925.  The letters show the difficulty of adjustment for many Italian immigrants and the support of the church to help with education and care.  It also shows the dangerous areas in which new immigrants had to live.
