Community Service

Community Service is one of the many activities that are provided through the Campus Ministry.  Volunteers for the Little Sisters of the Poor care for the elderly and serve dinner at the Jeanne Jagan Nursing Home.  It was founded in 1842, in Saint-Servan, France.  Today, there are thousands of “sisters” in ten different countries.

Students that volunteer for St. Anne’s Infant and Maternity Home care for abused, abandoned, and neglected infants and children.  Volunteers for Martha’s Table help less fortunate children, and provide food to the homeless all over Washington, D.C..  Community service promotes Christian values and encourages students to help those in need.
