The Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center started out as a single paged dashboard in the early days of reporting COVID-19 and now it has blossomed into a resource that is used around the world. Will this resource change how countries around the world track information on infectious diseases?

Health Data Dashboards

  • Johns Hopkins University & Medicine Coronavirus Resource Center: The center combines expertise from infectious disease doctors, public health experts, data scientists, and engineers. What started out as the COVID-19 Global Tracking Map in January 2020 by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins has morphed into a global resource center used by health care professionals, the public, and policymakers. Information includes trends in tracking, testing, tracing, vaccines, and news & resources which is updated daily. 
  • WHO Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Dashboard: The World Health Organization (WHO) coronavirus disease (COVID-19) dashboard presents official daily counts of COVID-19 cases and deaths reported by countries, territories and areas. Through this dashboard, they aim to provide a frequently updated data visualization, data dissemination and data exploration resource, while linking users to other useful and informative resources.
