Most of the periodicals are covered back to at least the early 1990s, but some content dates back as far as 1887. It also includes some monographs, reports and conference proceedings.

ACLS Humanities E-Book (formerly ACLS History E-Book Project) contains over 2200 previously-published books converted to electronic format, as well as many new XML e-books.
