Introduction

This guide is intended as a starting point for your research in German Language and Literature. Choose from the tabs above to begin. Please contact me if you need further assistance.  My contact information is to the right.

      

    Overview of the German Language and Literature Collection

    Most of the reference material on German language and literature as well as the languages which are classified under "German" (Dutch, Flemish, Afrikaans, Scandinavian, Old Norse, Modern Icelandic, Faroese, Danish, Norwegian, and Swedish) can be found in the Reference Room on the 1st floor of Mullen Library (non-circulating).  The call number ranges for the German language and the langanguages which are also classified under "German" are PD 1 - PD 7159.  German literature is PT 1 – PT 4897 while the literature of the languages which are classified under "German" is PT 5001 - PT 9999.  Circulating material is found in the Mullen Library stacks.  Floor map of Mullen Library; Map of Mullen Stacks. Check the WRLC catalog for monographs and journals that could be applicable to your topic. Check the CU’s e-journals for full text journal articles online.
