Introduction

The reference material on the crusades can be found in the Religious Studies/Philosophy Library located on the 3rd floor of Mullen Library.  These items are non-circulating and can be found in the D 155-157 range.  Information on the crusades are also found in other areas such as Byzantine Empire, Islam, Jew, and Middle Ages; consult the Library of Congress Classification which is found below.

Circulating material on the crusades (D 151-194) and military warfare (D 128 range and U 37 range) can be found in the Mullen Library stacks.  The latest issues of current periodicals dealing with Church History are arranged in alphabetical order by title. They are located in the south wing of the 3rd floor.
Many journal articles are available online at CU e-journals.  Check the WRLC catalog for material that could be applicable to your topic.

For additional resources, be sure to check the Research Advisory Tool, a database of 2000 annotations of reference materialfor print, online databases, CD-ROMs, and web sites that are accessible to CUA students and faculty.
