What is a Myth?
Oxford English Dictionary defines'myth' as:
A traditional story, typically involving supernatural beings or forces, which embodies and provides an explanation, aetiology, or justification for something such as the early history of a society, a religious belief or ritual, or a natural phenomenon.
Collections in Mullen Library
Most reference works can be found in the Religious Studies and Philosophy Library (314 and 316 Mullen). Library of Congress call numbers fall under BL1-2790 Religions. Mythology. Rationalism and specifically BL300-325 for myth and comparative mythology.
