    Suggestion Box - We listen!

The Saturday hours in the E&A Library are too short.

We try to schedule Library hours to meet the demand. The demand on weekends is for Sunday hours and so the E & A Library is open from 1PM - 10PM on Sundays.

Why are there so many 2 hour loan books in the Engineering & Architecture Library?

This is an issue the Library staff at the E&A Library are pondering. There are books on course reserve which are two hour loan because the professor has requested it. You can tell these books becuase that have the professor's name on the spine label. Some books are noted as 2 hour loan becuase they are heavily used for projects during the semester. The 2 hour loan period is thought to be long enough to get the book to the Architecture building to scan as needed and then return it to the E&A Library.

In 2011 the E&A library staff changed the loan periods of 1,200 - 2 hour loan books for student convenience. You can always state your case to a full-time E&A library staff member about why you need the book longer. We will work with you to provide the resouces you need.

NOTE: New books requested by Architecture faculty and graduate students usually have a 7 DAY loan period for 1 semester. You cannot renew these online, you must return the books at the E&a Library to renew them.
